Burger King Ad was a trigger for Google Home

The fast food chain Burger King launched a commercial in the United States on Thursday (12), lasting only 15 seconds, which is causing controversy.

In the video, which you can watch below, a guy is holding a Whopper as if it were to deliver to the customer. The problem here is that instead of inviting the viewer to know more about the burger, the guy asks the camera to get closer to his face and says he has found the solution:

"Ok Google, what is the whopper burger? "

And what's the problem? For non-americans, maybe none, but in the United States, several people use in their home the personal assistant Google Home, which is activated by an "Ok, Google. " With this, the Burger King "discovered " a way to make the person "forced " to hear about the burger.

This question made Google Home starts reading on Wikipedia about Whopper and how it's done. Genius marketing trick, but at the same time, lousy reception. The US media and users were furious with the ad. People started editing information about the company and whopper on Wikipedia, with things like "cause cancer ", "chocolate candy " and even "rat. "
