The massive 'Snapchat Clone' by Facebook

The world's largest social networking site has already created similar services and is now betting on clone everything, everywhere.

"There is no doubt that Facebook is targeting Snapchat by cloning their main function for it's own apps, such as Instagram Stories and most recently in WhatsApp in a function called Status " said by Raul Castanon-Martinez.

Before we know how Facebook Stories works (which is the same as Instagram Stories, also looks like WhatsApp Status and now Messenger Day):

- You open the camera app;

- Record a video or photo and use animations;

- Then you can share with everyone (not with a restriction list) or send the image to some contacts.

"As the Facebook business is generally focused on social communications, services like the Snap can be a threat once they gain scale "

It's not the first time that Facebook copied a rival, has already happened with Twitter, in the case of hashtags. A similar appropriation occurs between chat apps, such as WhatsApp, Telegram and Kik.
