Facebook create clone of Snapchat called 'Messenger Day'
Facebook officially announced the new Messenger Day
feature for android and iOS (something like Snapchat Stories).
After testing with just a limited number of users, Messenger Day is already being released globally.
Just like Snapchat Stories, Instagram Stories or Whatsapp Stories, Day has the format of sharing photos and videos with effects and notes to friends, only available 24 hours.
Facebook details how the 'Day' works:
1. Make sure you've updated Messenger;
2. Open Messenger and tap the highlighted camera and the application will open in fullscreen. (or just tap "add to your day ");
3. Take a selfie or a photo, or simply make a video of what is around you - just like instagram;
4. Add an effect or text;
5. Upload your photo or video and this story will be available 24 hours for your facebook friends.
